We have the Angelcare movement monitor. In addition to being a regular monitor, it allows us to know if our little ones stopped moving / breathing during the night. If you have any concerns about SIDS, this is a must have!

We bought the BT digital baby monitor - HiDS model (about £70.00) from Boots as it has talk back facility and lullabies for baby. However, we’re not impressed as batteries (rechargable) don’t even last one night - the bloody thing woke me up saying low battery - just what i needed after finally getting to sleep with ten week old baby lol! Also if you play lullaby for baby you have to listen to it on your monitor as well. Think you can get basic model for much cheaper and will do just as good a job!
